Keith Hernandez Shaves His Mustache For Charity (Video)

Keith Hernandez, former New York Mets All-Star and current SNY Analyst, bid farewell to his iconic moustache courtesy of Schick Hydro® on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 11:45am at the final home game of the Mets’ 2012 season. The event - which was open to the public – took place prior to the Mets-Pirates game, next to the Shea Home Run Apple in the Mets Plaza outside of the Jackie Robinson Rotunda. The festivities will be commemorated with a charitable donation of $10,000 from Schick Hydro and Hernandez to a foundation close to the announcer’s heart: The Jacquelyn Hernandez Adult Day Health Center for patients with Alzheimer’s disease.

On Thursday, Keith Hernandez said goodbye to his iconic mustache.
