AAA - Buffalo Bisons (67-76)_______________________________________

Buffalo got the evening off

AA - Binghamton Mets (68-74)_____________________________________

TRENTON 8, BINGHAMTON 5 (Box)

Binghamton had a few hitters with fantastic days at the plate, but Gonzalez German was punished for basically every runner that got on base. Luckily for the B-Mets, their season is winding down relatively quickly.

Hi-A - St. Lucie Mets ________________________________________

There were no games scheduled yesterday, but the FSL playoffs get underway this evening.

    Lo-A - Savannah Sand Gnats (28-41)__________________________________

    KANNAPOLIS 5, SAVANNAH 2 (Box)

.This seems like pretty typical Savannah baseball this season. Not enough runs, not quite enough pitching, and not quite the result we were after.

      Short Season A - Brooklyn Cyclones (45-29)__________________________________

      BROOKLYN 4, LOWELL 1 (Box)

It was an excellent starting pitching performance, and it turned into a much needed win for the Cyclones. The win combined with the Batavia loss puts Brooklyn a game clear in the wild card race with only two left to play.

    • CF Brandon Nimmo: 1-5, K
    • SS Philip Evans: 2-5, RBI, K
    • C Kevin Plawecki: 3-4, RBI, R
    • 2B Juan Carlos Gamboa: 2-3
    • RHP Luis Cessa: 8.2 IP, 6 H, ER, 2 K, BB
      Star of the Night

Luis Cessa had a fantastic night in the only really meaningful game of the evening.

      Goat of the Night

Brooklyn won, so we'll put the goat horns away for the evening.
