The Mets should sign Omar Infante and should have signed David Murphy

Omar Infante would be a steal for the Mets to sign. Although he was injured for most of this past season his numbers were surprisingly sufficient. Omar had a .318 BA, 51 RBI, 20 BB, .345 OBP, and only 44 strikeouts in 458 AB. Those at amazing numbers for a guy that was only in 118 games. He also will come cheap due to the fact that the richest contract he has ever signed was for 8 million dollars when he was with the Marlins. The Mets could plug him into the SS spot and have a reliable bat in front of David Wright. Sign him to a 2 year,12 million dollar contract before the Yankees over pay for him like they did with Brian McCann. An Omar Infante signing would be just as smart as if the Mets signed David Murphy before the Indians. Yes he had a mediocre season last year, but he would have been a solid signing for the Mets. First of all, it makes sense financially because of his off year this past year he wouldn't ask for much. The contract he signed with Cleveland was 2years, 12 million with a club option for 2016. Do you really want to tell me and the rest of the Mets fans community that you can't afford that? He has postseason and World Series experience he can bring to the team too which is priceless to a rookie outfielder like Juan Lagares. I mean disappointment after disappointment with this GM and Owner. I'm sick of hearing that we have money when we don't. The Wilpon's need to sell the team for the Mets to get on the right track and this GM needs to leave because guess where his last GM job was? San Diego. Look at them now. They are almost starting to get better since Alderson screwed that team over. The Wilpon's probably only got Sandy Alderson as the GM because he will listen to anything the Wilpon's say and do like a coward. The only hope I have for this Owner to sell the team is if Sandy Alderson becomes MLB commissioner. There are rumors going around that he is the front runner to become the next commissioner after Bud Selig retires. I'm hoping that he gets the job, stands up for the Mets fans, and forces the Wilpon's to sell the team so we can spend money. If that happens, Mark Cuban (Dallas Mavericks owner) is very interested in buying an MLB team and the Mets are on his list. Mark Cuban has a history of not being afraid to pull the trigger on tough to make deals and he's not afraid to spend money on free agency. That is what keeps me going and what gives me hope for this team's future. Spread the word the that the Wilpon's have to go and hopefully so many Mets fans scream this message that Bud Selig, current commissioner, has to pay attention to this problem. By the way, the New York Mets owners are over 2 BILLION DOLLARS IN DEBT!!!! THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE IN NEW YORK!!!! Please spread my message and help me and the Mets community get the Wilpon's out of New York. Thank you.
