Well, here's the good news: There's now a real reason to worry about Travis d'Arnaud. "Will Mike Francesa ever learn to pronounce his name correctly?" and "What if John Buck keeps slugging .739 for the entire season?" weren't cutting it.
Here's the tweet from The Star-Ledger reporter Jorge Castillo:
Alderson announced Travis d’Aranud has non-displaced fracture in left foot. Took foul tip while catching. Will be checked out in NYC tmrw.

Mets general manager Sandy Alderson said that the broken bone is the first metatarsal in d'Arnaud's left foot. The catcher was in a walking boot after the game.
The emergence of John Buck as a combination of Superman, the Hulk, and the Human Torch was already one factor that could potentially delay d'Arnaud's MLB debut. This news is a more serious one, and we don't know yet how long the catcher will be out of action. Hopefully, Buck can keep up his hot start at least until d'Arnaud is fully healthy again.
