Ouch. For the second night in a row, the Mets lost to the Marlins in Miami's final at bat. Jeremy Hefner was fantastic over 8+ innings but the Mets' offense and Anthony Recker's defense in the 9th inning was not. Brandon Lyon threw a wild pitch to end it, and both Terry Collins and Bobby Parnell were pissed off.

Matt Harvey's April was Seaver-esque, according to Mark Simon. Cool!

Mark Himmelstein makes an appearance and tries to figure out where the Mets should hit Lucas Duda in the lineup.

Tim Hudson had himself a little league game, picking up his 200th career victory and hitting a home run in the Braves' 8-1 win over the Nationals.

Stephen Strasburg's arm is fine, says Nats' GM Mike Rizzo. Strasburg had some forearm tightness on Monday, usually an ominous sign.

Roy Halladay was demolished by the Indians, as the Phillies lost 14-2. Halladay allowed 3 home runs and 8 runs total. But hey, at least Delmon Young is active and he even hit a home run!

Giancarlo Stanton looks likely to miss about a month with a strained right hamstring.

Around the Majors

Mark Teixeira probably won't return to the Yankees until June. Meanwhile, his replacement Kevin Youkilis is on the DL now as well.

The guy from Biogenesis says he knows nothing about performance enhancing drugs and that this is a character assassination. Okay.

MLB is finally getting in on this Youtube fad, as they've beefed up their presence on that new-fangled internet moving picture website.

Citi Field places 8th on the list of Top 10 baseball stadiums for craft beer.

Josh Hamilton has turned himself into a hacker and it's hurting him early this season.
