Should the Mets go after the Cuban Shortstop Aledmys Diaz?

Just a question since Ruben Tejada has proven he can be a everyday shortstop, and now the ban to sign him is lifted, it will also long time until Gavin Cecchini or Amed Rosario will be ready to play in the majors. During the 11-12 season he posted .311/.404/.500 with 12 homeruns, I know that's against Cuban pitching not the Majors but it is a sample of what he could bring to the table when or if he is a Met.
