As we speak, Ruben Tejada is leading the Mets to an 8-1 lead over the Oakland Athletics, who have the best record in baseball. Ruben is 1 for 2 with a single and a strikeout. He is hitting eighth.
Fans on twitter have been clamoring for TC to insert Ruben into the leadoff spot, but for some reason, he has decided to put him in eighth (and sometimes even start Wilmer Flores over him). Let's see what twitter has to say about the future of the Mets (I'm talking about Ruben):
Ruben Tejada batting second is the saddest thing I've seen since they shot Old Yeller. #mets

I agree. Why isn't he hitting leadoff???? #FireTC
The one flaw with the movie #Moneyball is that the movie forgets to mention the A's awesome pitching staff and players like Tejada and Dye

Here are some reasons why Ruben should be batting ahead of Wilmer Flores. And why TC should be fired.
1. This:
This play by Ruben Tejada cannot be explained: http://t.co/mtWPizTJaA #OUTstandings

Wow. I have never seen Flores do this. Or TC for that matter. TC is a hypocrite.
2. Some of my sources have "seen" Ruben and Wilmer in the locker room. If you catch my drift. (only cool people/cool subs will get this)
Thank you.
