Should The Mets Place David Wright On The DL?

David Wright was diagnosed with a bruised shoulder and is being prescribed for rest and anti-inflammatory medication. Let's face it, David Wright is not having a typical Wright season.Wright's slash line is .277/.333/.396. David Wright has been playing through the pain for 3 weeks which could explain his play on the field. However, Wright has been on a hot streak before the injury flared up again during the Pittsburgh series. I think the best thing to do is to place Wright on the DL to rest his shoulder and his mind. Let's give Campbell and Flores (if we call him up) a chance to make a name for themselves in the majors. Campbell is a serviceable utility guy to have on the roster and deserves to have a few more ABs. As for Flores, the Mets are not giving him a fair chance to see what he can do on a regular basis. Flores is not going to prosper just by sitting on the bench. What do you guys think the Mets should do with David Wright? Thanks for Reading.
