Triple-A - Las Vegas 51's (6-8)_______________________________________
RENO 6, LAS VEGAS 3 (Box)
Given the impressive pitching staff and line-up with a few interesting names, I was not expecting the 51s to struggle out of the box as they have been. But, here we are, with Wally Backman's club under .500 by two games.

Double-A - Binghamton Mets (8-5)_____________________________________
POSTPONED (RAIN)
Advanced-A - St. Lucie Mets (7-7)_____________________________________
JUPITER 8, ST. LUCIE 2 (Box)
Kevin McGowan had a game that he'll want to forget- you can't do much worse than having a 7 Game Score. The Hammerheads tagged the Franklin Pierce University product for eight runs on eleven hits in just four innings. Ricky Knapp took over for McGowan and was actually pretty good, allowing just one hit in five innings of work, but the hole that St. Lucie's starter had dug for them early just proved to be too deep. Asides for a 1st inning run that the team scratched out, they were only able to score one more run.

- RHP Kevin McGowan: 4 IP, 11 H, 8 ER, 2 BB, 1 K, WP
- RHP Ricky Knapp: 5 IP, 1 H, 0 BB, 1 K
Low-A - Savannah Sand Gnats (5-7)__________________________________
SAVANNAH 9, ROME 5 (Box)
Corey Oswalt did not have his best stuff, but he still won his second game of the season thanks to a Sang Gnat offense that was cranking on all cylinders. The Gnats jumped out on top early, scoring four runs in the bottom of the 2nd off of Rome starter Max Povse. The Braves evened the game at 4-4 in the top of the 4th, but Savannah answered those four runs with four more of their own, this time against reliever Sean Furney. Tyler Moore began the inning with a double, his first hit of the year, and Jean Rodriguez did the heavy lifting, blasting a triple to deep right-center with bases loaded to plate three runs. Both teams scored once again in the 6th, Rome plating one more run off of Oswalt and the Sand Gnats against Dustin Emmons.
