The Mets are having tough time managing their starting pitching, from Matt Harvey's innings limits to trying to give Jacob deGrom some extra rest. Terry Collins is currently in the most highly scrutinized stretch of his managerial career, all while trying to keep the Mets atop the NL East.
On Monday, the Mets finally revealed their rotation plans for the week that included both deGrom and Harvey, along with a spot start for Logan Verrett.
#Mets make their TBA rotation official: Logan Verrett will pitch tomorrow, Bartolo Colon on Wednesday.

To what extent that Harvey pitches is unknown but if Sunday night is any indication, he won't be going eight or nine innings. The Mets will have to manage their bullpen accordingly to have the guys ready to take the ball from Harvey as early as the fourth or fifth inning.
