Triple-A - Las Vegas 51s (13-13)__________________________
EL PASO 7, LAS VEGAS 6 F/10 (Box)
I concede I went to sleep last night and the 51s had a 6-0 lead in the sixth inning and Seth Lugo was cruising; however, I awoke to see the 51s had conspired to relinquish that lead in the next two innings only to lose in the 10th inning to the Chihuahuas. El Paso starter Carlos Pimentel was tagged for all six Las Vegan runs in 5.2 innings, including Brandon Nimmo's first home run of the season.
In rather fitting fashion for a Mets affiliate, Chasen Bradford's Tenth Inning of Doom went as such:
- Leadoff double
- Bunt single, runner goes to third
- Wild pitch, runner scores game-winning run
That whole sequence took all of five pitches.
The 51s complete their current road trip with a 4-game jaunt to Raley Field for a series against the Sacramento RiverCats. Duane Below is the projected starter tonight.

Double-A - Binghamton Mets (13-11)____________________________
PORTLAND 2, BINGHAMTON 1 (Box)
Rainy Lara threw six plus strong innings, but he pitched into the seventh which unfortunately wasn't as strong (albeit aided by some Akeel Morris Cinco De Mayo fireworks). The B-Mets offense was lifeless for most of the night, only tagging SeaDog reliever Simon Mercedes in his two innings of work. A wild pitch in the top of seventh by the Portland reliever scored Victor Crusado for the only Binghamton run of the night.
The Mets return to NYSEG Stadium tonight as knuckleballer Mickey Jannis is slated to pitch against the Akron RubberDucks.
