Recap: Niese shelled, Mets lose to Pirates

For the second straight game, the Mets were beaten, badly, by the Pirates at Citi Field. Between the hitters’ inability to produce much of anything against Francisco Liriano and Jon Niese’s brutal start, the Mets were out of the game very quickly.
