Jose Reyes and Shawon Dunston
I just wrote an article on Beyond the Boxscore comparing Jose Reyes to Shawon Dunston and a few other comparable players. I figured as Mets fans you would enjoy reading it (or not, depending on your view of Dunston).
Thanks for visiting everyone! And you Mets fans take care of Pedro Martinez for me, I miss his peak years in Boston :(

Link
true but
either way you look at it, the kid is 21. i'm 23 and i feel so old talking about him. he needs a full season to develop, which he hasnt had yet.

Sample
yeah good job by me forgetting the link btw
I'm not sure if it is too early with the sample size, because he is following in Dunston's footsteps already. Both their first seasons had decent but not great plate patience, followed by worse, followed by what could be called, "Dunston-esque".
It would be nice to see him turn it around obviously, but I'm not sure I'd wager on it
