Mets Cancel Weekend Games Against The Braves
Fearful of the impending wrath of Hurricane Irene, the Mets have preemptively canceled Saturday's and Sunday's games against the Braves. The games will be made up as part of a single-admission double-header on Thursday, 8 September, with the first game starting at 4:10pm.
Tickets for Saturday's game will be honored at the make-up double-dip. Tickets for Sunday's game can be redeemed for seats to a future game. Contact the Mets' ticket office at (718) 507-TIXX for more information.
Here is the official press release from the Mets.
Mets-Marlins 8/3 Rainout Ticket Update
The Mets-Marlins rainout from 3 August has been rescheduled as part of a single-admission double-header on Monday, 29 August beginning at 4:10pm EDT. In other words, if you're holding tickets for 8/29 then you just doubled your projected intake of Mets baseball for no additional charge. If you're holding an unused ticket from 8/3, you should visit Mets.com or call (718) 507-TIXX to exchange them for tickets to a future Mets game, preferably one that won't be rained out and/or played against the Marlins.
