Since there still isn't much going on and I can only cram so many "Best X of Y" posts into a single week, I thought it'd be fun to get to know each other a little better. We're on here every day chatting away about the Mets and other baseball whatnots, but this'll be an opportunity to learn a bit more about each other.

Who is responsible for your Met fandom?

My dad. He was a Giants fan growing up until the Giants up and left for San Francisco. He already hated the Yankees, so when the Mets arrived in 1962 they was a natural fit.

Favorite movie?

Tie. Fight Club and Brazil. For the former, I loved the Chuck Palahniuk novel (plus much of his other work, Survivor and Invisible Monsters in particular), but David Fincher's transformation of it for the big screen was equal parts stunning and disturbing. As for Brazil, Terry Gilliam is a god amongst men.
