Recap: Boston vs. NY Yankees

Sports Network | September 27, 2008

Boston, MA (Sports Network) - Saturday's game between the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox was postponed because of rain. It will be made up on Sunday as part of a day/night doubleheader at Fenway Park.

The teams will play Sunday's regularly scheduled game at 1:35 p.m. (et), then play Saturday's makeup game at 7:35 p.m. (et).

New York won Friday's series-opener, 19-8, to end Boston's slim chance of winning the American League East division. The Red Sox will enter the postseason as the wild card.
