Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - The Chicago White Sox reinstated pitcher Jose Contreras from the 60-day disabled list on Monday and outrighted infielder Jason Bourgeois, catchers Donny Lucy and Paul Phillips, and pitcher Andrew Sisco to Triple-A Charlotte.
The 36-year-old Contreras went 7-6 with a 4.54 ERA and one complete game in 20 starts for Chicago this season before suffering a ruptured left Achilles tendon on August 9 against Boston.
Lucy, 26, will remain with the White Sox organization while Bourgeois, Phillips and Sisco will all become free agents.
