by Roger Clemens. I was a hardcore fan of him, believed that He was not only a great player, but also a dedicated family man. He was a good example of devoted work ethic and responsibility to team and fan and family. But now what he did, and he didn't confess it. He denies he ever did anything. You really believed that about at a man that is 1)Is on record calling New York a sewer, until it was time to cash in here with the Yankees 2)Tried to hurt Mike Piazza with a thrown ball on National TV 3)Tried to hurt Mike Piazza with a thrown bat in the World Series 4)Negotiated a contract where he got skip road trips and has skipped parts of seasons negotiating outrageous extensions for himself. Honestly you could have told me that Clemens was the Son of Sam and I would believe it.
