Bleh. Would've been a close game if not for Maine's implosion in the third.

may have missed a very close call for the loss is ridiculous. I've seen mets win on bad umpire calls and nobody credits the umpire for the win. How do you know Maine wouldn't have fallen apart in the next inning and how about blaming Maine for losing it.I can't see how you can call yourself a smart baeball fan and blame the umpire for the loss. Absurd

it was a very close play-a bang-bang play. The Mets blew it, not the umpire. It's not like Mets lost by a run or the play came in 9th inning. Sometimes you lose games because the other team pitches and hits better. It happens in a 162 game schedule. So stop whining
