Que se dillio:
Not much to say about last night's loss. The Mets had opportunities to bring runs home but didn't, and the Phillies capitalized on a couple of bad defensive plays in the top of the tenth to win their sixth straight game against the Mets.

Kyle Lohse
yeah and I hope Pedro
Reyes
figures
gosh
his location is great
Lohse was out
jesus
Reyes is totally lost
yeah
The only guy in that sequence I wanted to see up there was Lastings, and they plunked him to save a big inning.

Pedro is DEALING
Yeah, my id would have loved to Pedro stick one in Rowand's ear, but the strikeout is better.
yep
nice job for Carlos
A strange blessing
Excellent stealing this inning, yes?

ok
THAT's the Pedro I love
Goddamn
Can't they just give him, say, all of the next Nationals series off?
I wonder if it'd help.
he needs time off IMO
also as the leadoff hitter he gets
yeah, but that's the thing
I think the days off earlier
I can't fucking believe this
Get ready, everyone, because Mota's going to be on the playoff roster, and he's going to cost them a few games.
i won't complain until Willie actually uses Mota
Reyes CS #2
WTF was that. Awful.
What a weird way to pitch to Castillo
But then of course Reyes goes and gets caught
That was out of the Vince Coleman school
dumb, dumb, dumb
why do I smell
good gosh
this might be the dumbest game
wow
Lil' Pedro makes up for it
an horrendous schmuck?
why leave in Feliciano
rather Mota?
well Feliciano
an hit and error
he pitched well
Once again they'll probably lose
Phils this year = most years' Braves
Except for the pitiful Central Division
still the best record in the NL
yes they are good and they were the best last year
I recently talked about
gah
I guess it's not too late.
Willie has such terrible bullpen, despite their decent overall numbers.

don't forget
yeah
The commenters made some remark about him getting frustrated and trying to help his team. They were just covering for him.
There's virtually no scenario where 1_3 with two outs is better than 12_ with two outs. When the guy on 2nd is one of the fastest in baseball it is even dumber. It's nonsense, espec. with your clutchest hitter up.
I think he should have a press conference, come clean, apologize and be done with it.

I'm afraid to say
LoDuca swinging at first pitch
it was outside
did you see the overhead shot
bonus tip for Reyes here:
c'mon Davey

Mets win tomorrow
Mets are playing afraid
Well, there was one guy who wasn't afraid of the Phillies today, because he ain't afraid of anything: Pedro Martinez.
I hate the Phillies.
But at least Pedro was awesome and hopefully will become even more so with each start and good and strong for the playoffs. Which will not include the Phillies if I have anything to say about it.
Win tomorrow. That's an order. And I agree with Greenpoint Ian -- Mets need to take their cue from fierce, fearless Pedro. He doesn't let the Phillies intimidate him or get into his psyche.
And Beltran, I think you're mostly an A+ defensive guy, but sheesh, you've been playing at Shea now since 2005 -- I should think you would have mastered the wind patterns.
Anyway, go Mets!
Wind patterns
But for how much money Beltran makes, he still has to catch that ball.
