The Double-A Binghamton Mets won 9-3 over the Springfield Cardinals. RHP Zack Wheeler got the start allowing one unearned over 3 IP with 1 H, 3 BB, 1 K, 1 HBP. He was reportedly touching 97 mph and threw 33 of his 52 pitches for strikes (63%). OF Cory Vaughn and IF Travis Ozga hit back-to-back homers in the second; Ozga finished a triple shy of the cycle.
RHP Domingo Tapia and LHP Angel Cuan got the starts for the two A-ball clubs in Jupiter.
