What a game! Great, fun, exciting and IMPORTANT win. But one only witnessed by 28,409 which is 1,198 fewer than the season average of 29,607. It's officially summer, the best story of the year was toeing the rubber, the hated Phils were the opposition . . . sure it was a Thursday but it's not like a Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday . . . Would be nice to see RA sell more tickets for the long-term health of the club. I guess outside us junkies, casual fans have yet to buy the hype . . .

Preparation for the Star Wars event @ CIti Sept 13th

This is my first fanshot, so I apologize if it isn't appropriate or correct....I also apologize if it's been posted before, it's too long / short, etc. I am in constant awe of how funny, dedicated, and informative the AA community is. As we all know, a lot of it is dedicated to RA Dickey, who is one of all of our favorite players. For those of you who don't know, he's on twitter (see the link above...if it works). RADickey43 is his handle. Lately he posts a topic and answers questions from his fans. Examples include favorite Star Wars quotes...favorite literature....clothes....questions about Mets teammates....and it's all wonderful stuff. I hope you all enjoy following him, and I'd love if someone with more time then I have (two young boys and two full time jobs) can maybe follow him and post the best of Dickey twitter on here.
