Last game of the season, folks, so let's make it a good one. Mike Piazza, in what may be his last game in a Mets uniform, is batting cleanup as he did so many times over the past eight seasons. The Mets have guaranteed at least a tie for third place in the NL East, so let's make it a four-game sweep over the Rockies to close out the season on a high note.
I'd like to thank everyone who has visited this site since March and participated in the comments, the game chatters, and the diaries. It's been a lot of fun for me and you guys have been great. Thanks to you guys and to the Mets for a great season, and I look forward to a furious offseason packed with crazy rumors and interesting discussions.
For the last time in 2005, Let's Go Mets!
