There is actual baseball to be played in the meantime, and the Mets head into Houston tonight for the first of four games against the Astros. The Mets are currently 2.5 games behind Washington for the Nationals, with the Astros only a half game back. Needless to say, anything less than a split in this series is unacceptable, particularly with the Mets missing Clemens and drawing two rookies in the first two games.
