What Now?

After yet another demoralizing loss, the Mets find themselves, well, still only four games back of the Wild Card. It's as much a reflection of the lack of quality teams in the National League as it is of the Mets uncanny ability to not suck quite enough to fall completely out of the race.

Yesterday's game was tough to take, though. We went from holding our collective breath while we counted down the remaining outs to cursing out Gerald Williams and Jayson Werth and his goddam .236 BA to shaking our collective heads as the Mets somehow managed to lose a game in a uniquely-ridiculous fashion.
