The Mets dropped a "heartbreaker", 6-5 to the Orioles this afternoon. The boxscore is available at MLB.com. The Mets led 5-2 through eight before Bartolome Fortunato (the real key to the Kazmir trade, IMHO) allowed four hits, two walks and four runs in the bottom of the ninth.
Victor Zambrano allowed six hits and no walks while striking out one and allowing two runs, one earned, in five innings.
Carlos Delgado went 1-for-3, dropping his Spring average to .700. Endy Chavez was the hitting star, going 1-for-2 and driving in two runs with a double. Jose Reyes went 2-for-4 and is hitting .500 in Spring Training.
UPDATE: Not sure how it slipped by me, but former Met Kris Benson started the game for the O's and allowed six hits, three runs (two earned), one walk and struck out three in four innings. Rather inauspicious reunion for Mr. Anna Benson.
