Big test this week as the Braves come to Shea for a three game series. On paper, tonight's pitching matchup is a bit lopsided, as Pedro Martinez takes on Jorge Sosa. The Braves are always tough for the Mets, and the Mets won't get much help from Carlos Beltran, who is on the bench for the second straight game. Endy Chavez will bat seventh again in Beltran's place, providing all of Beltran's glove and speed but none of his bat.
