It was quite a treat to stay up last night until 2am just to watch the Mets lose in the bottom of the 14th inning. It's easy to fault Willie Randolph for sending Chad Bradford out there for a third inning to face three left-handed batters. His only option was to bring in Jorge Julio which, under the circumstances, would have been equally objectionable.
It looks like our old friend Mike Cameron might make his first appearance of the season tonight for the Padres, so that's good news for him and for his team. He's one of the good guys, so I certainly wish him luck and good health.
Starting on Monday, of course.
Let's go Mets!
