Henry Owens struck out four more batters tonight for the Binghamton Mets (AA) in 1.1 innings of work. He now has 31 strikeouts to just five walks in 13.1 innings this season, good for a K/9 of 20.9. To put it into perspective a bit, that's the equivalent of pitching a complete game and striking out 21 batters. Guh, can a brother get a AAA callup? With Mike Pelfrey scheduled to make his AA debut Saturday night, a one-two punch of Pelfrey and Owens will just lay waste to Eastern League hitters.
