Glacial McSlowpitch goes for the Mets tonight as they try to take two-of-three from the Phillies. He'll be opposed by Gavin Floyd, who has been terrible this season.
Per my friend Alex, a long-suffering Phillies fan:
"Floyd doesn't have very good command of his pitches. His best pitch is probably his curveball which breaks a lot. When he does get into trouble -- which is quite often -- he tends to fall apart. And he has the body language of a dear in headlights on the mound. And he sweats a lot."Giddy-up!
Let's go Mets!
