Judging by the graph above, the Mets were really in control of this one from the get-go. The Cardinals had a slight early edge, but as soon as Carlos Delgado knocked in two with a double in the third, the Mets never really looked back. There were a couple of scares -- the bottoms of the sixth and eighth innings -- but the Mets mostly kept the Cardinals in check and were able to keep them mostly off of the scoreboard with solid pitching and spectacular defense.
