Mike Pelfrey has been unimpressive in his first three starts this season. Methinks he's probably trying a bit to hard, and he has said as much in interviews. His bullpen and side sessions have been great, but he hasn't been able to go out there and execute. Whether it's adrenaline, nerves, crappiness, who knows? His job appears to be safe for now, especially with Orlando Hernandez on the disabled list and Chan Ho Park's ineffectiveness last night.
