Jorge Sosa comes off the disabled list and, really, he couldn't have handpicked a better game to make his return. He gets to:
a) pitch in the fine weather climate of San Diego
b) bring his extreme flyball skills to a stadium where homeruns (and runs, in general) go to die
c) face a below-average offensive team
The Mets will oppose David "Tubby" Wells, who has had a nice season, largely buoyed by his dramatic home/road splits. His svelte 2.91 home ERA helps to mask his khazer-like 6.25 road ERA.
