Moises Alou is in midseason form after a 2-for-3 day in his first GCL rehab game yesterday afternoon. Alou drew a walk and hit a homerun as the designated hitter. He is expected to actually play the field today.
Heath Bell is finally free, now that he is dominating big league hitters in San Diego.
Bob Raissman and his ridiculous facial hair think the Mets need to give Ralph kiner more face time. He says that Kiner Night was terrific, but what he really needs is to work more games. Ralph is great. He is getting on in years and his speech has deteriorated over time, but he is still sharp as a tack and his stories about baseball and its great history are unparalleled.
