Tim Marchman has done some digging through the MLB rule book and recently stumbled upon a little-known roster loophole that will allow the Mets to rest their injured players while simultaneously replacing them with healthy, able-bodied ones. It's apparently called the disabled list, though you'll have to read the article if you want to know more about it.

Marc Raimondi profiles Lastings Milledge in his latest column for SNY.tv. After a slow start, Milledge has been on fire at the plate recently, and was the team's best offensive player over the past week.

Tim Dierkes has the latest on the Mets at MLBTradeRumors.com. The Mets are reportedly interested in: Chad Cordero, Jon Rauch, Octavio Dotel, Eric Gagne, Al Reyes, Jose Contreras, Mark Grudzielanek, Luis Castillo, Juan Rincon, Joe Blanton and Sammy Sosa, to varying degrees.
