Everyone has World Series aspirations, some more reasonable than others. The Mets have spent a ton of money on this team over the past two seasons and currently have the highest payroll in the National League. We can criticize upper management all we want for one silly move or another, but eventually the talent has to go out there and perform. For 162 games, I mean.
It's raining in Cincinnati, but if the weather clears up we'll see Johan Santana and Aaron Harang at Great American Ballpark. Opening Day: Does it get any better?
