There's an awful lot of information flying around about the Mets' current financial state, Fred Wilpon's reluctant efforts to sell part of the team he loves, the lawsuit brought against Wilpon by a number of bilked Madoff investors who claim the Mets' owner did know or should have known about the elaborate Ponzi scheme that took the life savings from many regular, nonbillionaire people.
