The 2012 season may have come to an end just a couple days ago, but that doesn't mean it's too soon for Las Vegas to release its odds for next year. Whether you're a betting person or not, the odds present an outside perspective of just how dim or bright the future might look for the Mets.
According to the odds, which are courtesy of Bovada, the Mets have a 40-to-1 shot at winning the World Series in 2013, which puts them on the same level as the Miami Marlins and Seattle Mariners.
