SBN Awards: Rookie Of The Year — Harper, Trout Take Home Honors

SB Nation reveals its annual year-end baseball awards, beginning with the best rookies.

Mike Ehrmann

After each baseball season ends — but before the playoffs begin — SBN Baseball bloggers get together and vote on awards for the year's nonpareil performers. Each team site — including Amazin' Avenue — is allowed a maximum of two ballots for their team's league. In our case, we completed two National League ballots for all three awards: Rookie of the Year, Pitcher of the Year, and Player of the Year.

Today we announce the winners of both leagues' rookie of the year. Chris McShane and Eno Sarris proudly represented AA in the voting and their ballots were as follows:

Chris

  1. Wade Miley, Arizona Diamondbacks
  2. Bryce Harper, Washington Nationals
  3. Norichika Aoki, Milwaukee Brewers

Eno

  1. Bryce Harper, Washington Nationals
  2. Wade Miley, Arizona Diamondbacks
  3. Norichika Aoki, Milwaukee Brewers

The same ballots in different orders, as Eno took the consensus favorite Harper while Chris took Miley, which seems like a clown vote, bro (I'm so sorry).

With deference to the late Richard Dawson, the survey says:
