SBN Awards: Player Of The Year — Buster Posey, Mike Trout

SB Nation reveals its annual year-end baseball awards, handing out the metaphorical hardware for the best players of the year.

After each baseball season ends — but before the playoffs begin — SBN Baseball bloggers get together and vote on awards for the year's nonpareil performers. Each team site — including Amazin' Avenue — is allowed a maximum of two ballots for their team's league. In our case, we completed two National League ballots for all three awards: Rookie of the Year, Pitcher of the Year, and Player of the Year.

Today we announce the winners of both leagues' Player Of The Year, an award with no special significance for us, though David Wright certainly had a fine season overall. Chris McShane and Eno Sarris proudly represented AA in the voting and their ballots were as follows:
