Wins all around tonight as all four teams in action put a W up for the evening.
AAA - Buffalo Bisons (14-10)_______________________________________
BUFFALO 8, ROCHESTER 2 (Box)
Buffalo is getting short of actual prospects as more and more of them end up in Queens. Dylan Owen was excellent for the Herd though, and the top of the Buffalo order was all you could ask last night as they again beat their Western NY rivals. It's nice to see Brad Emaus back in the organization and getting off on the right foot.
- 3B Brad Emaus: 2-3, 1 BB, BB, K, RBI
- 1B Josh Satin: 1-5, 3 K
- RHP Dylan Owen: 7 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 7 K, 0 BB, 0 HR
AA - Binghamton Mets (12-10)_____________________________________
BINGHAMTON 7, ERIE 1 (Box)
Reese Havens is back, and boy did he hit the ground running in this one. A 3 for 4 evening at the plate while drawing a walk and homering is always a good way to start your season...my guess is we see him mentioned again a little farther down the page. Oh, and some guy named Wheeler pitched pretty well.
- LF Juan Lagares: 0-3, 2 BB
- CF Matt Den Dekker: 2-5, 3B, 2B, 2 K, 2 RBI, 2 R
- 3B Jefry Marte: 1-3, 2B, BB
- 2B Reese Havens: 3-4, HR, BB, 2 RBI, R
- C Juan Centeno: 0-2, 3 BB, K, R
- LF Pedro Zapata: 2-5, 3B, RBI, K, 2 R
- RHP Zack Wheeler: 5.2 IP, 2 H, ER, 6 K, 3 BB
- RHP Armando Rodriguez: 2 IP, 1 H, 1 BB, 0 K
Hi-A St. Lucie Mets (19-4)________________________________________
ST. LUCIE 5, FT. MYERS 1 (Box)
The sun rose in the East again, and St. Lucie also won. Good pitching and timely hitting do tend to result in that sort of outcome. Had it not been for Reese Havens awesome day at the plate I'd be hard pressed not to pick Gonzalez German as the star of the day.
- RF Cesar Puello: 2-4, RBI
- 3B Wilmer Flores: 0-4, RBI
- SS Wilfredo Tovar: 2-4, 2B, K, R
- RF Cory Vaughn: 1-4, HR, BB, 3 K, RBI, R
- 2B Danny Muno: 2-4, R
- RHP Gonzalez Germen: 7 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 7 K, 0 BB
Lo-A Savannah Sand Gnats (13-11)__________________________________
SAVANNAH 9, LEXINGTON 3 (Box)
Who says you can't win them all? With the 9-3 victory on the evening the Mets affiliates went 4 for 4 last night. Every member of the Gnats starting lineup got on base, and we had yet another strong starting pitching performance in this one. WIN METHOD!
- C Cam Maron: 1-5, K, R
- 3B Aderlin Rodriguez: 2-5, 2B, 2 RBI, R
- RHP Marcos Camarena: 5 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, K
