Sorry it's late today, I ended up staying an extra day in the city and managed to catch both of this weekend's games against the Padres. It wasn't a horrible weekend to take in some Mets baseball...

AAA - Buffalo Bisons (28-22)_______________________________________

SCRANTON WB 1 - BUFFALO 0 (Box)

Chris Schwinden pitched pretty well, and Pedro Beato had another solid outing in his rehab. The Buffalo bats didn't have anything going on yesterday though, so the lone run Schwinden gave up was enough to hang him with the loss.

AA - Binghamton Mets (23-25)_____________________________________

BINGHAMTON 6, NEW HAMPSHIRE 1 (Box)

Good Mark Cohoon was on the mound today, and the Bingo bats provided more than enough offense to back him up. Binghamton would string together a bunch of singles in the bottom of the fourth to go on top for good, and even Reese Havens would chip in with a single.

Hi-A St. Lucie Mets (39-11)________________________________________

ST. LUCIE 2, CHARLOTTE 1 (Box)

Charlotte got an early run yesterday, but a single run won't do it against St. Lucie very often. That held true again yesterday as Joe Bofe would eventually drive in a pair to see the Mets jump to 28 games over .500.

Lo-A Savannah Sand Gnats (30-19)__________________________________

SAVANNAH 5, AUGUSTA 4 (Box)

.Savannah would score a pair in the top of the 1st to take the early lead, but despite racking up 14 hits and 5 walks they'd leave themselves with some work to do in the top of the 9th. Alberto Cordero and Greg Pron both singled home runs for the Gnats as they manged to sneak out a much deserved victory late.

Star of the Night

Easy call today...Travis Taijeron had three extra base hits and a walk to lead the Gnats offense. That type of outburst will make you the star of the night more often than not.

Goat of the Night

Josh Satin can have the horns today after his 0-4, 2 K performance in the organization's lone loss of the evening.
