AAA - Buffalo Bisons (17-13)_______________________________________

The Herd had the day off.

AA - Binghamton Mets (14-15)_____________________________________

BINGHAMTON 2. HARRISBURG 1 (Box)

Binghamton used a strong pitching performance from Greg Peavey and Armando Rodriguez to grind out the win last night. There wasn't much to be had in the way of offense, but Pedro Zapata scored the winner on a Josh Rodriguez walk off single in the ninth inning to help the B-Mets inch back towards .500.

Hi-A St. Lucie Mets (24-6)________________________________________

DUNEDIN 5, ST. LUCIE 3 (Box)

ST. LUCIE 8, DUNEDIN 0 (Box)

Double dipper night for St. Lucie, and they'd actually lose one of the two games. Chase Huchingson had a rough outing in the first game, and that was enough for the Jays affiliates to squeak out a 5-3 win. No other pitchers would allow a run on the day though, and the St. Lucie bats would wake up for game 2. The split sees the Mets division lead cut to just 9 games as we've reached 30 played...

Lo-A Savannah Sand Gnats (18-12)__________________________________

LAKEWOOD 4, SAVANNAH 0 (Box)

Well there just isn't much to say about this one. When you manage just 4 hits, you generally lose the game. Yuck.

Star of the Night

Greg Peavey has had a rough start to the season, but the kid was just awesome yesterday. We'll put some well deserved stars around his name today.

Goat of the Night
It was a toss up between the entire Gnats offense or Cory Vaughn last night, but 0-7 over two games and a St. Lucie loss make Vaughn the "winner". Yay.
