AAA - Buffalo Bisons (36-29)_______________________________________

NORFOLK 5, BUFFALO 4 (Box)

This one only lasted 5 innings, and the 5th was a rough one for the Buffalo cause. The Brad Emaus show had the Bisons with a 4-0 advantage heading into the bottom of the 5th, but Jeurys Familia struggled to end the inning after a Sean Kazmir throwing error and eventually gave up 5 in the frame. 46 of this 76 pitches went for strikes, but getting through 5 innings on 76 pitches is respectable (especially considering the extra work he was forced to do).

AA - Binghamton Mets (29-30)_____________________________________

Scheduled off day

ROSTER UPDATE - After earning Eastern League Player of the Week honors, B-Mets center fielder Matt den Dekker will be heading north to Triple-A Buffalo. Den Dekker was batting .340 with eight home runs and ten stolen bases for Bingo. Buffalo outfielder Dustin Martin will be swapping roster spots with den Dekker.

Hi-A St. Lucie Mets (48-15)________________________________________

ST. LUCIE 3, CHARLOTTE 2 (Box)

Chase Huchingson had another solid outing for St. Lucie, and the Mets offense did just enough for the win. Cory Vaughn strikes out a lot, doesn't he?

Lo-A Savannah Sand Gnats (35-26)__________________________________

.Postponed due to poor weather

Star of the Night

I have to give it to Brad Emaus tonight. He's struggled in AAA this season, but he had a great 5 innings last night.

Goat of the Night

It's got to be Sean Kazmar tonight. His throwing error eventually cost the Bisons the rain shortened game. Cory Vaughn was pretty lousy as well though.
