Good morning, or afternoon if you're reading this after noon. I don't have the authority to dictate when you read things (yet). And a Happy Friday! It's more of a Monday to me as I'm back at work after two days sick, but one of those awesome Mondays where there's a weekend right after. Typically they come in Smarch.
Anyway, the fact that it's Friday today is mentioned not just because I'm being personable and friendly - it's because on Fridays, Pick 6 becomes a real crucible of your fantasy baseball skill, a true test of your abilities. That's right: it's 50 Cent Friday. But before we pick teams, let's look at how everyone's doing.
We have one holdover from the previous day's Top 5, so a warm and hearty congratulations to airgriffey24, who nearly exactly repeated the same performance two days in a row. That's the kind of consistency that wins ballgames, folks.

I choose to attribute the higher scores (compared to the day before) to R.A. Dickey. There's no other explanation. Our top three for the week are the same three from yesterday, but there's a lot of jockeying for position. With only a couple of days to go, the top is tightening up as well.

This really will be an exciting ending to the week's competition, if fantasy baseball is something that excites you. I know I'm eager to see who pulls out the victory.
It's not going to be me, though, as I was worse yesterday than I've been all week. Even with R.A. Dickey's gem, I managed only a fairly weak 28.9 points on the day. You'll see why.

BRYCE HARPER DIDN'T EVEN PLAY. Even Muscles couldn't save me from myself, and from Davey Johnson announcing lineup news after I'd picked my team. I have a feeling this is going to happen to me a lot, so stay tuned for that.
Perhaps today's 6 will do better. Probably not, though: I'm actually going to participate in 50 Cent Friday, so the chances are good that I will fail miserably. Here goes nothing!
