AAA - Buffalo Bisons (60-64)_______________________________________

BUFFALO 6, LEHIGH VALLEY 0 (Box)

Who cares about offense (Nick Evans maybe?), good Jeurys Familia was on the hill yesterday. The Bisons got some run support for him anyway, and it was an easy win over the overmatched Phillies affiliate.

AA - Binghamton Mets (59-63)_____________________________________

NEW HAMPSHIRE 5, BINGHAMTON 2 (Box)

This one didn't go quite as well as the Bisons game, but at least Allan Dykstra homered.

Hi-A - St. Lucie Mets (26-24)________________________________________

ST. LUCIE 9, PALM BEACH 8 (Box)

St. Lucie had themselves a laugher, leading 8-2 going into the top of the 9th. They then decided to give upp 6, forcing themselves to win it in the bottom of the frame. Bullpens...

Also, Bullpen Banter had an excellent scouting report up on Rafael Montero that you should probably all read. It's kind of fun having lots of pitching prospects, isn't it?

Lo-A - Savannah Sand Gnats (22-28)__________________________________

LEXINGTON 10, SAVANNAH 1 (Box)

Nothing to see here, move along. Actually, that Cam Maron is pretty solid,

    Appalachian League (R) - Kingsport Mets (17-33)__________________________________

KINGSPORT 4, JOHNSON CITY 2 (Box)

JOHNSON CITY 4, KINGSPORT 2 (Box)

Is it just me, or does it seem like every time a Mets affiliate plays a double header the is a split? Maybe it just happens to be the days I do the reports. Either way, a win and a loss has to be considered a good day for Kingsport.

    Star of the Night

Familia was awesome. Leathersich was awesome. Muno was even better. Gold star for Danny Muno.

    Goat of the Night

Kyle Allen was absolutely terrible last night for St. Lucie, almost allowing a laugher to slip into the loss column. Horns for you Kyle.
