Yesterday we saw some high scores from Amazin' Avenue players in the Pick 6 fantasy baseball game to start the week off right. How right, you ask? Well, the top five were all within about ten points of one another, and all over 55 points. That's a pretty good start. Can we keep it going, though?
Here are the scores from yesterday (doubling as our weekly leaders):
Rank | Player | Score |
---|---|---|
1 | Franco Salandra | 67.9 |
2 | anonymous | 64.8 |
3 | CoolBeans31 | 63.1 |
4 | James Ubriaco | 59.5 |
5 | hypeprospect | 58.9 |
That's a pretty good overall performance. I came in a bit behind that, with 42.6 points, even though I did the theme team that I mentioned in yesterday's post.
Position | Player | Score |
---|---|---|
SP | Jordan Zimmermann | -2.0 |
C | Kurt Suzuki | 5.2 |
CI | Ryan Zimmerman | 13.2 |
MI | Ian Desmond | 18.6 |
OF | Bryce Harper | 0.6 |
RP | Tyler Clippard | 7.0 |
I'm pretty happy with that, even in Jordan Zimmermann, the original keystone of the team, didn't contribute much. Ian Desmond, though. Ian Desmond. Here's today's team.
Position | Player | Price |
---|---|---|
SP | Ricky Romero | $9.00 |
C | Miguel Montero | $29.75 |
CI | Evan Longoria | $28.50 |
MI | Jimmy Rollins | $4.00 |
OF | Giancarlo Stanton | $34.25 |
RP | Rafael Soriano | $7.75 |
Every time I pick Jimmy Rollins, an angel gets called to jury duty. Sorry, Heaven.
