JUPITER 3, ST. LUCIE 1 (Box)

The FSL playoffs got underway yesterday, and things didn't end all that well for the Mets. Rain was a factor all night, causing a rain delay of over two and a half hours. Christian Yelich had a great night for the Hammerheads as they took the early lead in the series. Game two will be this evening in St. Lucie.

Short Season A - Brooklyn Cyclones (45-30)__________________________________

LOWELL 9, BROOKLYN 1 (Box)

The Cyclones lost, Batavia was postponed, and Auburn won. With those results in mind, either a Brooklyn win tonight or a loss by the Muckdogs in either game of their doubleheader will Clinch a playoff berth for the Cyclones. Batavia's doubleheader gets underway at 4 PM EST, the 'Clones are scheduled for 6:05 PM EST. Hopefully Brooklyn gets better work from it's bullpen tonight, as 7 runs allowed in 4 innings of work just doesn't make winning easy.
