New York Mets Daily Farm System Report: 404 error

Blame it on the rain that was falling (falling)
Blame it on the rain that was falling (falling)

Game Two of Brooklyn's series with the Hudson Valley Renegades was postponed due to the expected and than inclement weather in the Hudson Valley. The game was rescheduled for 5:05 PM today, which was nice of them since that means I can get brunch in the city before heading up there. Luis Mateo is still scheduled to pitch Game Two for the Cyclones, but the Renegades now have the option of starting Taylor Guerrieri on normal rest. We'll see what they end up doing. If necessary, Game Three will be played on Monday.

In the other New York Penn League playoff series, the Tri-City Valley Cats still lead the Auburn Doubledays 1-0 as their contest was also rained out.

You can check out the recap of Game One here. For additional reading, there is Rob's review of Brooklyn's starting pitching, as well as Alex and my in-depth look at Game One starter and Sterling Award winner Hansel Robles.
