Jeff Wilpon spoke yesterday about the team's offseason plans, reiterating that the Mets have money to spend. Wilpon also talked about first base, saying that they've gotten inquiries on their first basemen, and that they did not offer Jose Abreu a contract because he was not an outfielder.

David Wright and Eric Young Jr did not win Gold Gloves.

Matt Harvey is said to be ahead of schedule in his rehab and the ace was spotted at the Rangers' game with girlfriend Anne V on Monday night wearing a futuristic arm brace. The two are apparently searching for a house together.
